I saw the same issue... if I select the cash rate for one of the nights, it appears to do 'something', but the change never takes effect. If I actually select the room it shows the full points amount and not the cash nights.
Yep - exactly this.
It's working again today, though - so likely a temporary blip with their system.
Incidentally, I have come across a couple of hotels that do a 'real' cash and points reservation. One in Portland recently that was $75. + 15,000 - a good deal in this case as the hotel was $300+ US per night!
