Its funny with all the argy-bargy over the electronics ban, for me Polaris would seem ideal for US-Middle east in order to compete with Emirates et al..
As I understand it, if UA were to fly to any of the listed airports in the Middle East (which currently no US airline does), then the electronics ban would equally apply to UA on those flights.
