Honestly, it's not much different than at some hotels in the city where they may have extra security at the door or for the elevators, vs. a hotel in a more rural area that doesn't have as much security.

There's brand standards - such as what is put out for breakfast, what you'll find in the room, etc. But what one needs to show to get the breakfast is simply based on what the hotel operator finds necessary for their location.
