Exactly.

If you're getting great treatment at SPG, Marriott, or Hyatt properties, a continental breakfast and "Congrats, only a few dozen more nights to Diamond" isn't going to do it for you. That's still too high a barrier.

They're giving these matches to Joe Traveler who goes to visit Grandma once a year. This is a target for high-value customers.
