From a longtime AS flyer - appreciate some comments

Ok, here goes. I have been an MP member since gold ingots were given out, but was about to earn my first chunk-o-gold when they stopped. I was a happy AS flyer during the days of 3 course F meals on an SFO/SEA run. I was an amply-satisfied flyer (with issues) in the post-cutback era. I have been an MVP and/or gold for several years. Since AS261, I have taken only one short hop. I am now an MVP Gold per the UA matching promo. I still have my Board Room membership. I will never step on another MD80 again no matter what the airline, but AS has lots of 737s on lots of routes, so it should no longer be an issue.

So what should I expect from my former favorite airline these days? Upgrade availability as a Gold? Meal Services? How are the Board Rooms doing? MVP security lines in the various airports (other than what I have heard of in SEA)?

All in all, will I find my new AS experiences ones that I will want to take - as I plan on flying AS again several times in the forseeable future. (I'm most interested in hearing from those who haven't just discovered AS after years of UA Shuttle and WN abuse).
[And please please, no "advice" on the MD80 issue - for those of you who don't know, I was on that same airplane earlier that day... and in fact, on a recent Lan Chile award which included a free F domestic connection on AS on a route only served by MD80s, I paid for a ticket on another airline.]
