Specifically, the offer was for two separate vacations, each a 4-night / 5-day trip, for a total of $398. The first trip had to be to a specified list of properties, which included some all-inclusive resorts in Cancun, PVR, as well as Vegas, Orlando, and Myrtle Beach. The second trip apparently could be to any RCI resort location. I was also told that no presentation was required. I just had to visit. The whole thing sounded a little fishy and "too good to be true," particularly since the caller didn't seem all that sharp at all. For that reason, I declined. But has anyone heard or experienced this kind of offer? Is it a scam? Thanks in advance for any guidance.
This sounds like a scam company completely unrelated to Hilton. I sometimes get calls from a company calling themselves "Vacation Resorts" or something like that offering a cheap package to the same destinations. In my case it's usually from a 702 (Vegas) or 407 (Orlando) phone number.
