We're staying in a self catering place when we get to Billund so I want to drop into a supermarket en route. I'm thinking the outskirts of Odense would make for a sensible stopping point. However we'll also be wanting to grab a bite of dinner - just something informal.
Do larger Danish supermarkets tend to have cafes attached to them, or can anyone make any other suggestions? Doesn't have to be Odense, but that just seemed about half way along the route.
Thanks

It's been a few years since we were in Billund, but then the
only things open on a Sunday night were the grocery store (medium sized) and the Lego Hotel Restaurant. The Lego restaurant was actually worth the price for all the specialty items - Lego brick potatoes, Legos on the table, and an awesome array of seafood on the buffet for me.
There is a very nice park in the middle of Odense where the kids can run around and play. Also the ducks there will be happy to accept any crackers or bread you need to get rid of.

They assisted us in cleaning up after our picnic.
