I went for a tour earlier and will have to admit that I may have been a bit premature (won't be the first time) in saying I won't go there. The spa is absolutely stunning and unless Four Seasons Ten Trinity come up with something spectacular, The Lanesborough will have the best spa in London....providing you don't go as a couple. There is no swimming pool and so for me I'd still rather The Bulgari, with it's 36C hydrotherapy pool, swimming pool and larger lounging area.

The Lanesborough have spared no expense and made an absolutely gorgeous spa area, with a bar and restaurant serving healthy cocktails and alcoholic ones, or a combination of. It contains the most beautiful lounging area I've ever seen and (unfortunately) separate men's and women's changing rooms with two saunas, a steam room and one of those rainforest showers made by people who have never been to a rainforest. The hydrotherapy pool area is also beautiful, although rather small, and the water felt ok, but there is a big difference between dipping your hand in and sitting in there for a few minutes. The room temperature was very high, so it was even stranger for them to set it at such a low temperature, as it will be a major contrast.

Naturally I forgot to take my camera, so no pics, but will be booking to stay in 2 weeks time. Fair to say it must have cost a small fortune to have built something so high-end.
