Let me start off by saying I am new here.
I am looking for some advice!

I have flown many times in my life, however, I have not had any layovers. So pardon me if these are some of the stupidest questions! My husband and I are flying to Louisville in September, and have a layover at BWI. We are flying SWA.
Our flight arrives at 7:10am at BWI and departs again at 8:20am. We do change planes.
Our flight coming home also is the same way, layover at BWI, and changing planes. Arrival at 9:30pm, and depart at 10:25pm.

so it is a rather short layover. I know we may not have time to do much of anything, but we are both smokers. I have read that it is a non-smoking airport(which i wouldnt expect any different), but have read there is a smoking section outside by the busses.

My question is, would we have enough time to get through security, have a smoke, grab a coffee within the airport, and come back in and get our connecting flight in time?
I dont want to miss our flight, obviously. So if we wont have enough time, we would just make due, but where I have never had a layover before, nor have i ever been to BWI, I dont know if we should take our chances.

We have two airports close to our home, and one I would definitely say we have enough time, and the other I would say we definitely wouldnt, so i am not sure what kind of time we would have at BWI.
