Why is it that every time I visit a European city, a new Hilton property is announced for said city the next week?

Curiously the map for the hotel on Hilton's site puts it right on Ras Al Khaimah Harbour slightly north of Dubai -- which isn't very convenient to Rome at all .

Having enjoyed the Cavalieri last week but having to move to the HGI Claridge for the last night as they were completely sold out to the point where not even the Diamond Force could help me, I get the impression that they could use a little bit of a stress relief; I also get the sense that while this property looks luxurious they potentially appeal to two different traveling philosophies (oasis/compound to escape the city, vs. heart-of-the-action).

(I'm not sure how often diplomatic security hits the Cavalieri, but that was a "fun" addition to our stay)
