Eeeek, those prices... Unfortunately, that's how it is for one-day rentals. A three-day rental is barely more than that ($250, I think), but I understand that's not an option. Look at Sixt, as well - they might have some more stuff at better prices.
Anyone know any good driving roads close to Frankfurt (besides the Autobahn/Nurburgring stuff)?
The roads that lead to the N'ring are pretty good, if you go through Adenau (and, basically, the middle of the forest).
