I just booked(and received confirmation a few days later) a GTI Clubsport from Avis in FRA for a day(have a day to kill before heading off on some other european car-related adventures) for $175ish a day. The Golf R was around the same price, but since I have spent some time behind the wheel of one before, and it is sold here, I figured I would give the CS a try. The Mustang GT was a bit more, but since I own one, no need to try it there..lol. The 991.2 911 was over $900/day, which is pretty ridiculous (I have driven every version of that car here, and while they are great, they are not really worth it as a rental unless your only goal is to hit 170+ on the Autobahn).

Anyone know any good driving roads close to Frankfurt (besides the Autobahn/Nurburgring stuff)?
