If your layover is 2.5 hours it doesn't leave much time for a lounge and it certainly isn't worth paying for an hour in a lounge. According to Frankfurt Airport's map there are some cafes and bars near C gates.
If you want to get some food before the flight, it's better to grab something in the B/Z area. IIRC C13 (after passing the extra security) has only a small food cart and the other C gates don't have decent food options near them.
