If I then cancel that award ticket on March 15, 2018, do the redeposited miles expire on:

1. March 31, 2018 or June 30, 2018?

And also:

2. Does this mean that the award flight date still has to be within a year of the original expiration date: that is, by Sept. 30, 2018?

Again, thanks for help with this.

Thanks yet again. But sorry...yet another question:

Let's say my original booking used 65K expiring miles, and then I cancel and make another booking. If I've since added, say, 35K miles to my account, can that new booking be for 100K miles?
