The left wing of Scoot flight TZ188 "came into contact with an Emirates aircraft…while TZ188 was taxiing before take-off," a Scoot representative told CNBC.

"The Emirates Flight EK405 from Singapore to Dubai on 30 March was slightly damaged during pushback. Engineering inspections determined that some repairs will be required," an Emirates spokesperson told CNBC.
