Just got my Audible.com points (it took only two days to post) and I just put in my Points.com transfer for it to American Airlines. I also just made my call to Audible.com to cancel. They answered the phone quick, didn't really haggle me not to cancel, plus said they put my refund through on my credit card for the $7.
I think I've used up every good Anything Points offer (I hope they offer more good ones soon). I netted about 17,000 American Airlines miles, for a total cost of about $38. My main expenses were $19.95 for a PointsPlus account. I decided to pay them for an extra year to receive 2,100 Anything Points, even though I had a free year through Fairmont Hotels. My other main expense was the New York Times subscription.
I made one error, which was to do a Points.com transaction that gave me less than 500 AA miles (1000 Anything Points only equals 465 AA miles). For that one, I didn't get the Birthday Bonus.
Right now I only have 200 Anything Points, as everything else is transferred out. It's probably safest to redeem your Anything Points ASAP, in case they try to reverse things, saying you didn't legitimately earn them. I don't expect that to happen, and I would argue if they did, since I followed all their offers as described.
This is the best thread I've read on FlyerTalk this year.
