Well I appreciate your help and expertise on the airline miles.

I guess the points vs miles is still confusing and this is where the hotel points come in and make my head spin. The Hilton HHonors is doing the 100K points right now and I'm not sure if it's a good idea or not. Is the Sapphire a good card right now? Also, I know these cards charge a fee every year... do you cancel the card after using the miles or points? I think the Alaska Airlines might be the best route since it does have that companion fare for $99/year. That's quite a deal!!

I know four tickets is a lot to shoot for. I have excellent credit fortunately but don't want to get slammed with all the yearly fees. So this worries me a little. All kind of overwhelming to figure out.
