I'm going to Vietnam in the fall; OZ has the best J price.

I go through the whole purchase process on their circa 1995 website (well-documented) only to find out at the end that they will not sell me a ticket without my passport number which I did not have with me.

My question however is this: during the seat selection process I was ONLY offered F seats on the 747 ICN-SGN. I selected row 4. No problem. But I can't believe that they want to give me F seats at the J price.

What's the deal?
