I have a trip later this week that I booked on AA, but it has a couple of flight segments that are operated by CX. I was told that I can get a seat assignment within 48 hours, but I'm having problems pulling up my booking on cathaypacific.com. So far, I've tried:

(1) using the AA booking reference directly
(2) using the AA eticket number
(3) using a "One World" booking reference number that I got off of qantas.com a couple months ago - this used to work at CX, but doesn't anymore
(4) calling AA and asking them for the CX booking reference, which they gave me, but doesn't work

It seems like I must be missing something obvious here...
