No, a toyota and a Honda, what's the point to argue? They are both not Mercedes.

Westin, upscale?Upper upscale? Who cares? With more than 230 properties and most of them looks very the same, it's just a better business hotel with some mid tier wanna-be resorts.

I completely agree with what others said between Marriott and Sheraton. They should make sheraton as a double tree brand, for those who want a full service feeling hotel but don't what pay so much.

Most Sheraton I've been to in Asia and Domestic US are dumps. I am not the first Marriott guy who said Sheraton is a dump ground.

As far as how good your Sheraton is in Asia, just check 3 premier locations in Asia, Tokyo, Macau and Hong Kong. Especially in Hong Kong and Macau, after you visit the other international brand around, such as IC, JW,Hyatt, you will realized how terrible this brand is and what kind of low level segment that this brand is into. Jw Marriott and Conrad in Pacific Center attracts customer with classy and taste, the atmosphere is quite and elegant. Sheraton next to the low ceiling Sogo department attracts group tourist, the place is noisy and dark.

I actually agree with this for domestic Sheraton hotels. Abroad, most (but not all) Sheratons are of much higher quality. Sheraton has a far better reputation and is of more consistent and better brand standard than Marriott in Asia, Africa, and Europe, but the opposite is true in North America.
