I searched the forum and could not find another thread on this subject so I thought I would start the thread:

how annoying is it that since just over a year ago there is a CHF5 fee for the shuttle bus from the hotel to the airport?

this is at the same time that anyone booking the hotel via the hilton website gets free internet - I have pointed out ot them that they could waive the fees for their gold and diamond guests, because frankly as a diamond hhonors I feel like my benefits are being all taken away.

I have discussed the goshdarn bus charge with reception many a time: none of the other off-airport "airport hotels" have such a thing!

since they don't seem to give a monkey's about their loyal guests' opinion on this, I have mainly stopped using this hotel and I now stay downtown, this way I have access to any amenities and restaurants the evening before instead of being stuck by the motorway on top of the hill, and in the morning take the S-Bahn or even a taxi to the airport and it takes me the same time as that stupid shuttle.

meh.
