99.9% likely not a bug. The reservation almost surely hasn't been ticketed. The OP is not going to fly anywhere most likely...unless it gets ticketed, and at time of ticketing the payment is always taken (never before - that would be, among other things, against the airlines' merchant account rules and requirements).

Unlike other US-based airlines, DL almost always tickets instantly. When it doesn't, there likely is a problem, and possibly invalid reservation that cannot be ticketed. UA, on the other hand, tickets a few minutes top a few hours after request normally (any longer: again, sign of possibly fatal problems). AA is the slowest and normally takes a few days. Of course, the CC pmnt and miles only get deducted when the ticket is actually issued and the flights are actually booked.
