I don't think you will have access to AA Arrival Lounge if your flight arrives in T5. AA showers are indeed better- though BA does accept special requests for breakfast (i.e. you can order eggs any style rather than eat from buffet) - while not advertised, its never been refused to me. AA lounge does not accommodate such requests
