I've recently ran into a site promising travel agent status/iata number called Global Travel International (GTI) or globaltravel.com. This company has been around for 15 plus years. Lots of discounts on travel including heavily discounted "familiarization" trips exclusively for "travel agents." I have some friends who are travel agents who go on awesome "fam" trips. All this for 199$ a year. I'm looking to get discounts primarily and maybe plan large trips with friends and collecting some commission. Does anyone have any experience with GTI? The reviews online are old and overwhelmingly unfavorable but I'm still so ever curious.
