Did you have access to the lounge? If so did that also get crowded? Was the service good and the food always available?

This should not happen any more, the hotel has switched to 100% Non smoking due to a change in the law (They told me that all shanghai hotels are now required to be smoke free since the 1st of March 2017)

Where was the Spa? We saw the So Spa Villa's and the Yuequan(?) spa club and both of these were outside and we only went near them because we were walking around the property. In any case we didn't have any such issues, either because it is low season, or they have taken your comments into account
