I think there are still 81 cases unresolved. Assuming each case gets settled at $15 mln, the insurer is looking at 1.21 bln in payouts. I won't be surprised if SQ will be paying more premiums in future, squeezing their margins.

Does anyone know what is the highest payout by any airline in such cases?
