Flying Delta from ATL-PHX Flight # 411 and PHX-ATL Flight #296 which side of the plane (ABC) or (DEF) is better for a good scenic view of the mountains?
Will be travelling in late Sept and returning in early Oct. in case the dates of the flight make any difference to the routing. Seating is still wide open so I want to try to get the correct side now if I can.

Side question: if you have great seat(s) in coach for a a view of the mountains - or in fact a great view on any domestic route or route under (fill in the blank) hours and you can get a free upgrade to business/first but with NO view would you take the upgrade?
