Hi I need some advice. I booked a flight to Thailand through China southern and put in my birthday and passport expiration date wrong (switched the month and the day). I called and emailed the company to have them change the days and unfortunately after sending them a picture of my passport, they could not change it because the name on the ticket didn't match my passport (I didn't include my middle name on the ticket)

I was looking up answers and it seems that you don't need to have your middle name on the ticket. But I'm curious if I won't be allowed to get my ticket from the front desk with the wrong birthdate. If I need to spend more time at the airport to get it sorted out that's fine, but I would like to know if I need to spend another 400 to buy another ticket.
