Also, if you value AS miles, it's not a bad every day card either because of the conversion rate to AS. Without that, forget it!

But essentially you are earning 1.3 AS miles per dollar spent. Rather comparable to the AMEX EDP card or the Chase FU if you want AS miles.

This is the reason i got the card and am using it once on non bonus spend after i meet the 30x transactions on the EDP.

AS just announced VX is being discontinued though in 2019. So you probably have less than 2 years to really use the card. I'll keep it till it disappears.

Don't think the premium card is worth it though. No FTF fee could be nice way to earn overseas, but there's no chip!
