I am somewhere between 6'2" and 6'6" depending on which convenience store I am leaving, and I haven't found a horrible place on the A330s to sit. If you can, sit towards the front of the airplane, since there really isn't a galley up front and you won't get the ambient noise/light from the mid section galley.
