I do not think it would be a issue if check in counters are already open so to say due to a earlier flight, i know some outports may i have a issue with bags being checked in too early due to giving ,"opportunistic staff " time to "inspect " your bag of any valuables....

I noted this in JNB/DEL/MNL....
