KL to Genting + 1st day in Genting

Our bus from Singapore finally arrived in front of Berjaya Times Square, Kuala Lumpur, at arround 04.10 a.m. As this was still early morning, I decided to drink a cup of tea at a local stall.





Then the sun rose. Time to catch the bus to Genting Highland. I walked to Pudu Sentral. It was formerly Kuala Lumpur's largest intercity bus terminal, but since 2012 majority of intercity bus left this terminal and moved to Terminal Bersepadu Selatan (TBS) in southern side of Kuala Lumpur. Today it's the departure point of buses to Genting Highland and Seremban.



I reached here at 7.40 a.m., but the bus would depart at 9.00 a.m. There were still more than 1 hour, so I decided to have my breakfast.






Time for departure to Genting Highland.




Then the bus faced an usual traffic jam in KL's highways.


Petronas Twin Tower and KL Tower could be seen.


Way to Genting Highland.






Our bus stopped at the Awana Skyway (cable car) Station, then we continued our journey with cable car.





While inside the cable car, we could see a beautiful scenery outside. I felt like above the clouds.




Before reaching the First World Hotel, we could see ongoing projects of the area. I read some news that there would be a Fox Studio amusement park here.




Our cable car reached its final destination. But there was still long way to our hotel.

My room. I got the cheapest fare for only MYR 50 (around USD 12).




Here I slept for some hours and did some of my businesses. At night, I left my room and played some games at the casino, where I won MYR 100 (around USD 24). Not bad.
