I'm in Seattle for work staying at HP, tomorrow I'll be moving to GH for pleasure/weekend. Yesterday I happened to walk by there and decided to pop in. I went to the front desk and explained that I'm currently at HP and will be moving to their hotel (which at that stage was two days away) and asked if there was a better time to come for check in as I was hoping to get a suite as a Globalist. Very nice check in agent said let's take a look at your reservation. He pulled it up and said I was already blocked into a corner suite on 27th floor, but said he wanted to see if there was anything else. Then told me there was a suite on 22nd that I'd probably like better - assuming it's just a nicer view? Anyhow seems they proactively upgraded me a few days before arrival. We'll see how it actually plays out when I check-in tomorrow. Fingers crossed.
