It can be, if you have a look at the BA Source Jet Tracker often an A380 arrives early morning, sits at LHR all day, then operates out again in the evening. Doesn't happen all the time but it can.
Also when i stay at the Hilton Garden Inn, It surprising just how many heavy jets are parked there all night, including A380.
