Mrs. Lee and I flew in 2J/3J on the A330 before and they were fine. 2J (and I assume 2A) are every so slightly more private, but you do lose a bit of OHB space because the fuselage has started curving in by that point (not really an issue as there is so much bin space in general).

It seemed like the last row of the front cabin, or perhaps first row of the rear cabin, was getting hit by a lot of light from the galley/lav on that flight. My memory is a bit fuzzy.
