First the J cabin is tight, The seats are great and the service is good but that is all. In Y I haven't seen anything that tightly packed since military charters in the 1970's.
Every single person who has actually flown this on a 5 hour flight in Y (and it appears all in E+) has been negative. See posts 58, 66, 97, 121. The most favorable comment to UA is "Super cramped."
And about 1/2 of those who have flown in the new 777HD (with similar sizes seats) has said they will avoid it.
FT is as negative as other reviews have been.
