I did not even know about the Arrivals lounge so thank you for that. I might be too worried about conformance to use it though.
Airside is fractionally closer, but there is very little in it space wise, time wise landside is almost certain to be faster.
However the set-up at T5 is that if you leave the Arrivals lounge one hour before departure, it will only take 5 minutes to get to security, and conformance is 35 minutes as you arrive there, so I've added plenty of time in for things to go wrong. Personally I'd leave the lounge at 45 minutes. So if you imagine you would want about 30 minutes minimum in the lounge, then you can do the maths as you approach the UK Border: if you have 2 hours before the NCL departs, then you have plenty of time for Arrivals.
