4) BTS Dark Green line (Suk Line) Bearing to Paknam ext (MRTA): 12.6km, 7 stations (Work started mid 2012) - civil works progress 88%.
a) 1st stage (Bearing to Samrong) opens May/June 2017.
b) 2nd stage late 2018
The BTS Sukhumvit line 1st stage to Samrong
should open in the first week of April, ie. in about 2 weeks. A couple of different dates have been provided but testing is due to be completed on 2 April. Thus, basically full services should commence on the 3rd ........save for any unexpected problems arising.
Orange Line construction update: some initial, preliminary site preparation works have commenced at a few locations which will be ongoing for the next few months but don't expect full construction works to start until the 3rd quarter of 2017.
