Quick report on how it went. On deplaning, I asked the staff meeting the flight where the Tryp hotel was. They were rather confused about the question but gave some tips. Basically you follow the T3 international connection signs and go thru transit security (who didn't ask anything), the hotel entrance is right after the security. We walked into the hotel, used the room to freshen up and change, had a decent breakfast and then checked out. The hotel reception told us how to get to passport control (take a elevator to level 0) and we went thru passport control and everything was super easy. ^
