Not for completed hotel stays. But did that before for general purchases and I had to show up in person. Basically store cancelled the previous transaction and charged the same amount under new card. Feels that this might not be so straight forward on hotel stays though but you might have better luck showing up in person with the previous charge slip, previous credit card and your new card.
