EUR470 per person actually sounds like a bargain compared to the EUR1302 for the same journey mentioned in the Wiki.

If you do upgrade then you will have access to Al Safwa because you are arriving on longhaul F (over 5 hours flighttime). This is described in the Wiki on http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/qatar...lounge-77.html.
It is usual that F passengers are met at the aircraft door and excourted to Al Safwa. However there hve been a couple of reports earlier this year that passengers were not met. I think that these were exceptions rather than a new practice.
