Got a strange issue here. I've used united.com a few weeks ago while traveling in Japan. By default in Japan it opens as a Japanese web site (based on source IP address, no doubt). That's all good - but now I am back in US. However, even though the web site now opens by default on US version - as soon as I log in, it switches back to Japan and I have to manually reset it to US.
Tried clearing cookies and offline site data - no difference. It appears that my account somehow got attached to Japan. How the heck do I undo this?
