Later in the year I'm flying MU from AKL to CDG via PVG in J. Transfer is MU to MU in Terminal 1. I've never flown MU, but have had positive experiences with CZ. I have an idea what to expect with Chinese airlines and I'm happy with that. Questions...
1. Will my bags be checked through from AKL to CDG or will I have to collect and recheck at PVG (I'm hoping no!)

2. I have read that there are several MU lounges near gates, but they're pretty marginal quality. I've also read that a new centralised lounge was opening. I have Diner's which also allows lounge access. Shower, food and space (in that order) are the priorities. Can anyone offer up to date information.

3. Departures at 12:30 am and 1:15am from PVG...what meals will be served?

4. Likelihood of pyjamas on board?

5. Are the on board option for paid upgrade to F? Ball park price?

6. Do they have advance meal selection (I'm guessing no...website is not great!!)
