In the past two years, Delta has improved while AA has declined significantly. It's really too bad we took the wrong date to the dance.

I realize everyone uses their miles differently, and I am fully aware of the value of using them for International J/F redemptions. In most cases, this is how I redeem them. That being said, last minute coach tickets have always been another way to use miles that fit in my travel habits.

Delta seems to have pretty good options on most days in coach, domestically. I can't say the same about AA. In most of my recent searches, there is nothing at all AA related except on light travel days, and never on Friday and Sundays.

Has anyone else noticed this trend? With the loss of Delta as a partner soon to be felt, to me it feels like AS miles for those members not living in SEA/PDX are increasing worthless if one wants to travel domestically.
