Or so I thought when I went to checkin today. There is a big area with a number of checkin desks and the word Triangle and a logo beside it.

It turns out that this is a 'special' checkin area that a person is sent to from the kioske if anything hinders them from going directly to the gate or the Express baggage drop off. This is apparently to make a faster checkin for people tht have no excess baggage, or seating problems, or need a document check.

Now also the passenger scans their own boarding card and a baggage tag is produced which the agent then outs onto the bag. The passenger then carries the bag over to the baggage belt.
