People should start doing chargebacks on their credit cards due to not getting the service they paid for. It sends a firm message that getting meager compensation of worthless Avios points forces the consumer to use their service and be subjected to more of their shoddy gimmicks. If a product is falsely advertised a chargeback is a viable option.

If you eat at a restaurant and dont get proper service report it to management and corporate and they do jack about it i would go after my credit card for a chargeback. Now ill only do this if no one gives a damn and the service was beyond being able to be recovered.

A rude flight crew no choice of food equals not getting what i paid for. Heck even if its a S1000 economy ticket and the service is beyond bad i would exercise my consumer rights and even if a chargeback is not granted it sends a string message to the vendor to shape up.

Put your money where you feel valued and treates like a human.
