Hi all, I'm planning an ex-eu flight with a layover in London on the way back.
I need to take hold luggage and am planning to get off in London.

I have two options when doing the schedule;
1. An 11 hour (daytime) layover at LHR
2. A change of airport from LHR to LGW (this adds some cost on)

Obviously if I do option 2, I'll get my luggage back at LHR, but it costs more. So would I get it back on an 11 hour layover? Or would they just check it straight through to final destination?
