Mods please move this thread if it is in the wrong place bieng generally SkyTeam rather than FB specific.

I could not find fuller explanations about the SkyTeam Round The World and the Rules and Reference Guide (http://www.skyteam.com/en/round-the-...ference-guide/) is very light information.

I was toying with the RTW Planner and made a few routes for fun (my start/end airport is Heathrow), only one of them would I actually consider doing. Can anyone explain what the four fare levels actually mean? There is no information in the FAQ other than listing them, and the RTWSKY4 has an asterix next to it but not leading to any other information.

What is the benefit to the comsumer of the SkyTeam RTW, other than having a single website to arrange all the flights? I guess there would be many factors involved to say this was cheaper than a bunch of one-way tickets covering the same route. There is a obviously a benefit to SkyTeam otherwise it would not exist.
