Thanks. Was just wondering. They wrote a date on my passport stamp, but that was unreadable so the I94 record was what I had (doesn't matter now anyway since my visit was short). I was admitted after secondary inspection so they could have given me a shorter stay (even though I am Norwegian citizen, I can't use the ESTA because of a visit to Iran in 2015 so I travelled with a B1/B2 visa). And Iran was something the CBP was not happy about, I like to travel to strange places (Russian and Chinese visas also in my passport) so I can understand their concern, but they finally realized I was a genuine tourist after three rounds of interviews. However it makes me concerned to visit the US again if I need to spend three hours in secondary to get in (might have recieved a flag now). The interview at the embassy here in Oslo was also tough enough to get through, I was rejected a visa first time I applied, but at the second attempt I brought more documentation that I really lived in Norway so I was granted a visa then. Maybe that is also why I was pulled into secondary, but my visa rejection was not a topic during the second interview at the embassy nor at the port of entry (I was of course honest on the DS160 application form).
