Thanks but its still not 100% clear to me - I assumed that the A and F fares would add up to the max number of remaining available seats in the cabin - ie of the 8 seats, 5 would be sold as F, leaving the other 3 for A. Hence my confusion that they added upto more than the number of seats in the cabin in this case.
You cannot add up the numbers in the fare classes. If it's F5, A4 it means the maximum number of tickets that may be purchased in the front cabin is 5 in F or 4 in A not the sum total (5+4).
